Excellence in Education Grants

our goal

Our goal with the Excellence in Education grant program is to support large-scale learning initiatives or projects that impact multiple classrooms, grades or buildings in Liberty Public Schools. 

Since 2006, we have invested nearly $125,000 through the Excellence in Education grant program. 


2017-2018 Excellence in education grant funded projects

Accessible Playground – Early Childhood Center (ECC)

The Early Childhood Center was awarded $3,732 to purchase playground equipment that would make their playground accessible to all students.

Aeroponics-Growing a Class Garden Out of Thin Air: Heritage Middle School

Heritage Middle School was awarded $3,568 to purchase four aeroponic growing towers.  Towers will be used for science students and learning throughout 6th, 7th and 8th grade.

Carvey-Helping Students Make Their Mark: Liberty High School (LMC)

The Library Media Center at Liberty High School was awarded $2,700 to purchase a Carvey system (a 3-D carving machine) which will be made available to all Liberty High students.
